This was another hign point for me, not only did i get to illustrate a vast ancient city, but i wanted to show the moments just before Hellboy arrived on Earth.
AND it was a chance to "copy" Mike Mignolas work and ink it in my style
What i wanted to do was re-show that moment/scene but show what no one saw, and that was the Architects involvement as Hellboy arrived?.

Great job reproducing some of those really iconic figures from HB comics the child Hellboy, Kronen and Baba Yaga are esp. good. The shot of Rasputin in 4th panel is also stunning!
