Its been seven and a bit months since I wrote one of these, and I have a fair amount of artwork to upload...
Phoenix: The Return is 4 parts long, consisting of 5-6 pages per part.
The story behind that has seriously grown. I've designed a Dark X-Men line up including..
Tri-clops (Cyclops)
Monolyth (Collosus)
Nebulous (Nightcrawler)
Despicable Me 3: Minions Assemble.
If that subtitle sounds familier, well, you'll see!. I've even a plot for a third film to attach to the drawing.
Two (count em) two, Hellboy drawings, A 20th anniversary cover and a cover which I'm currently working on callled "The Rise and Return of the Vampire Lords"
I've had a idea for another Vampire Lords cover too..
Must pull my finger out and get these uploaded.

Calling all Gerry Anderson fans...

Hello.
I've never wrote a journal quite like this, so here we go.
I have an idea for a comic, or a potential T.V series, revolving around 5 of Gerry Anderson's creations, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Stingray, Fireball XL5 and Joe 90.
I've been chatting to one of my watchers, Radomsketchgeek247, and I've pitched the idea to him and he agrees that it has huge possibilities, Now to be honest, I'm not 100% sure how to proceed with this, But molding the concept into individual stories is a start, and of course potential redesigns, but the new designs have to respect the original material (obviously).
So, to start at the beginning, IF you're genuinely interested and feel that you could get involved in either an artistic or story telling position, then get in touch. I'm going to write up the core "pitch" idea and IF you want to know the information, Give me your email address and I'll email you the idea.
Who knows where this could lead, I'm sick of having solid ideas for stories and they go unused unless I commit to drawing them! Lets see where this could lead folks. Please get in touch IF you're up for the challenge, Like I said, I haven't a clue where this could lead, it may simply be a bunch of us with designs and short stories based on this idea of mine, But lets see what the response is first?.

Phoenix update..

Hello.
Thought i would write a journal to update my progress on The Return. My idea for the return of Phoenix/Dark Phoenix.
I've drawn part 1, which is a massive ONE PAGE long,
I'm about to start part 2, which will be 2-3 pages long,
then part 3, probably the same,
Part 4, which is what I've been working on, At the moment it's 12 pages long, and growing, but it is space scenes and as much as they surprisingly take a lot of time? I love drawing em!.
The next couple of parts will bring the White Phoenix, from the White Room, into the story and show the army that Dark Phoenix is building.
Watch this space.

Ahhh, theres my Mojo..?

I've done and finished the Walking Dead cover, AND I've done a Family Guy, Walking Dead special, I really like that one, it was fun to do.
I'll hopefully get them uploaded within the next couple of days.
I had an idea for a Dark Phoenix story, years ago, one that can be used in the present day, I had a simple idea for bringing the 'original' Phoenix back and her mission of revenge against those who were present at her time in the Marvel Universe.
The more I've thought about it, the more the story has expanded, I've nearly finished a Dark Phoenix cover that I've tried to draw SO many times over those years, but it was never right, well, It is now.
I've always had the idea that whether it was one page or a couple, there was a section in the back of every X title that showed the return of Dark Phoenix.
Starting with three Shi'ar vessels, returning home from a routine mission, that suddenly detect a huge energy source, 2-3 lights years away, 'It' suddenly reacted to their scans, and turned in their direction. The result is the three ships being attacked and destroyed by the Phoenix firebird, But they manage to get a message sent to the Shi'ar Empire before they are destroyed, That message is investigated and the path this "Energy signature" is on, is calculated. It will take it to the Terran System, and Earth.
Something big this way comes?
I know Marvel made an attempt to bring Dark Phoenix back recently, but that was rubbish, it was a cack handed way of getting superheroes to fight each other, again. So I'm going to illustrate the segments as they are meant to appear in the comics. I'd better start designing the Dark X-Men?
